This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the information collection practices that EJEC VENTURES, LLC and its respective subsidiaries (“TryEssenTree,” “TryEssenTree,” ”we,” “us,” or “our,” if not explicitly referring to one company) follow when handling Personal Information (defined below) that we collect or receive in conducting our business, including through the sale of our products and use of our websites (the “Sites”), as further explained below. Employment data is not subject to this Privacy Policy. If you are a resident of the European Union (“EU”), you may have additional rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) with respect to your Personal Information, as outlined below. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, references to the EU also include the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the European Economic Area countries Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE. While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Additional Information. TryEssenTree does not directly collect any sensitive personal data on its users.
USING YOUR INFORMATION. We collect Personal Information for one or more of the following commercial and business purposes:
- Providing you with our products and services;
- Auditing related to a current interaction with the consumer and concurrent transactions, including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing compliance with laws and other standards;
- Detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecuting those responsible for that activity;
- Performing services on behalf of the business, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, providing advertising or marketing services, providing analytic services, or providing similar services on behalf of the business;
- Debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;

BASIS FOR PROCESSING. When required by applicable law, TryEssenTree only processes your Personal Information when it has an appropriate basis. That means we determine whether we have a lawful basis/legitimate business purpose to use your Personal Information before doing so. As stated in applicable law, such lawful bases/legitimate business purposes include receiving express consent, operating our business, performing a contract, and complying with a legal obligation.
Legitimate Interest. When processing Personal Information based on TryEssenTree’s legitimate interest, TryEssenTree ensures that your fundamental rights and interests are not overridden. This is achieved through TryEssenTree’s commitment to privacy by design principles, adherence to industry privacy standards, regular processing reviews, and a strong focus on the customer lifecycle. TryEssenTree relies on its legitimate interest for processing when it handles transaction processing, security, user analytics, and technical maintenance.
Contractual Performance. TryEssenTree processes your personal data when necessary for the performance of a contract when fulfilling our duties and exercising our rights under contracts with you, vendors, and partners. Additionally, when responding to consumer requests, and addressing customer service inquiries and requests for information.
Legal Obligation. TryEssenTree processes Personal Information to comply with any existing or future legal obligations including to detect and prevent unlawful acts, protect against malicious or illegal activity, and to provide assistance to law enforcement agencies.
Consent. TryEssenTree relies on your express consent, which you may withdraw, to process your personal data for servicing your registered account, promotions, and tailored marketing activities. These include facilitating and servicing your account to our mailing list and services, providing personalized promotions and special offers, and delivering marketing content that is tailored to your interests.
Analytics
We may allow selected service providers or processors, such as Google Analytics to use tracking technology on the Site, which will enable them to collect information about how you use the Site over time. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES. Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your Personal Information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances and, in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.

- Withdrawal of Consent: Where we rely on consent to process your Personal Information, you may have the right to withdraw this consent.
- Appeal: You may have a right to appeal our decision if we decline to process your request. You can do so by replying directly to our denial.

If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or orders that you have made.

Please include your full name, email address, and other identifying information such that we will be able to verify your identity, along with why you are writing, so that we can properly process your request. We are only able to handle your request if you provide the requested information needed to verify your identity. We aim to respond to a consumer request for access or deletion within 45 days of receiving that request. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to collect information from you to verify your identity, such as your email address or account information, before providing a substantive response to the request. In accordance with applicable laws, You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

We use this information to provide customer support, respond to inquiries, send order updates, shipping notifications, account notifications, and promotional messages to customers who have opted in to receive such communications.
